The Quran gives us an insight into how the psychics communicate with the jinn and get information, and it also tells us how the information is fraudulent. But every now and then we get to see a clear cut case in real life which confirms this beyond doubt.
Just this week, Western Australian psychic Liz Atherton decided to give us her expert football tips ahead of the AFL finals series. She claims to have more than 15 years experience dealing with ‘spirits’ who provide her information, and is also a counsellor and author. See the full article in the image below:
In what can only be described as Gutter Journalism, Perth Now, decided to publish her predictions online, masquerading as ‘real news’. We can argue all day about the merits of publishing psychic predictions, as after all we do publish predictions from football experts, but if you are going to bring in an alternative guesser, please make sure they have a clue about the sport to begin with.from the website
The problem for the fraudster Liz Atherton was that she made predictions which were mathematically impossible. It seemed she forgot to check the tables after the ‘spirit voices’ told her who was going to win all the games. It was an absolutely monumental blunder which can not be forgiven, and serves as ample proof that she is a modern day con artist who can not be trusted.
Lets take a look at her claims in more detail:
- Western Bulldogs to defeat Fremantle in the Grand-Final
- Fremantle will beat West Coast in the finals
- West Coast will play 3 games in the finals
The regular season has finished, and the 8 teams playing in the finals are already set, as well as their positioning and draws. According to Claim 1, West Coast will not be playing in the Grand Final, so for Claim 3 to be correct and have them play 3 finals, they must lose the first week, then win their Semi-Final the second week, and then the third week will see them play Fremantle in the Preliminary-Final (which is Claim 2). This is the only possible course of action, as if they win the first week, they would only play twice in order to lose to Fremantle before the Grand-Final.
Now the problem with this chain of events is that, as demonstrated on the AFL’s Finals Predictor website, for the Western Bulldogs to even make the Grand-Final, they must win all 3 of their preceding games, and their path to the Grand-Final would include clashing with West Coast in the Semi-Final, with the Winner playing Fremantle and the loser being knocked out.
Now if you are ever invited or tempted to visit a psychic for predictions about your future, please remember this horrendous AFL tipping blunder, and know that all psychics are fraudsters. They have no connections with beings with infinite knowledge, and time and time again have proven themselves unable to accurately predict the future.
