Is eating with a Fork or Spoon permissable in Islam?

All muslims should know we are commanded to eat with the right hand and not with the left hand, but what is the ruling on eating with utensils such as a Fork or a Spoon? Abu Mussab Wajdi Akkari explains that it is not only permissable, but in some cases it is closer to the sunnah for you to eat with a fork or spoon than to eat with your hand. The reasoning given is that some meals are difficult to eat with three fingers, which is the sunnah, while it is much easier to hold a fork or spoon with three fingers and fulfill the sunnah in that manner.

This clip is from the lecture The Grain of a Mustard (Arrogance) by Abu Mussab Wajdi Akkari.
